What we know about you, why we need it and what you can do about it.
We value your data and treat it the way we would want ours treated. This document sets out exactly what we collect, why we collect it and how you can have it removed. We follow the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing.

We have not appointed a data protection officer – the law does not require one from a small family business. Please direct anything concerning your data to the contacts above.
When you book a stay, we need your name, address, phone number, email and the dates of your stay. Without these we cannot prepare the room or confirm the booking. The legal basis is performance of the accommodation contract.
The law requires us to keep a register of guests. In it we record name, date of birth, address, identity document number, length and purpose of stay. This follows from Act No. 565/1990 Coll. on local charges. For foreign nationals we also keep a house book under Act No. 326/1999 Coll. on the residence of foreign nationals.
We cannot skip this even if you ask us to – it is a statutory duty, not our choice.
Invoices and tax documents contain billing details. We are required to retain them under Act No. 563/1991 Coll. on accounting and Act No. 235/2004 Coll. on value added tax.
When you write to us through the form on the Contact page or by email, we process your name, email, phone if given, and the content of the message – solely so that we can reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you sent us.
We run no newsletter, do not profile you, make no automated decisions about you and sell your data to no one. Nor do we process any special categories of data such as health or religious beliefs.
| Data | Retention period | Reason |

| Accounting records | 5 years | Accounting Act |
| Tax documents | 10 years | VAT Act |
| Form messages and emails | 1 year | answering the enquiry |
Once these periods expire we delete or shred the data.
We pass your data to no one who does not need it. The following may have access:
We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area. The exception is the third-party services described in the cookies section, where a transfer to the USA may occur under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Write to us at any time at info@ukasparku.cz and you can:
We will respond within one month at the latest. If the request is complex we may take a further two months – we will let you know if so.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the supervisory authority:

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We also use localStorage, which works similarly except the data stays in the browser and is not sent with every request.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookieConsent |
localStorage | remembers that you have dealt with the consent banner | until you clear your browser data |
This is necessary for the site to work and needs no consent – without it we would show you the banner on every single page load.
The site also loads content from third-party servers. On loading, these learn your IP address, browser type and the page you came from:
We run neither Google Analytics nor advertising trackers. We measure traffic ourselves on this server: we store the number of page views, the hour, where you came from and whether you are browsing on a mobile. We do not store your IP address and we use no cookies for it – a visitor is recognised by a fingerprint that changes every day, so you cannot be tracked across days or linked to a particular person.
You can block cookies in your browser settings, usually under Privacy and Security. Stored data can be deleted at any time. The site will keep working; you will simply see the consent banner again.
If the way we handle data changes, we will update this document and change the effective date at the top. The latest version is always at this address.
